my camera

i recieved my first point and shoot in 2010 as a christmas present. by then, i had known nothing about photography and i had no clue that i would love it years later. it was a small, pink Pentax. i learned to use it within a few hours, but never really took photography seriously.

my mom got a Sony digital camera sometime in 2011, and i really, loved it. it wasn't a DSLR, but in some ways it was better. i loved it and began loving photography around April of 2011 when i started my blog. i used her camera for everything, and my old point and shoot got left behind.

as the 2011 year went on, i started loving photography more and more. i got better, my blog grew, and i wanted to expand my abilities. on christmas of 2011, i got my first DSLR. A Canon Rebel. it is my pride and joy, lovingly named Kayden, my favorite boy name of all time. :) so yes, my DSLR is a boy. but he works just as well as any girl ever would :)
